Bill Maher talks about Iran with Rahm Emanuel.
This is an older video from 2007, but it still has relevance to today as they are talking about Ahmadinejad. Bill Maher makes some good points about the Iranian president here. This guy has always been hated by the people of our country. But how much do you really know about this guy except for what you've heard on the news? Remember when he spoke at Columbia University? He was a big story then. The news was all over the comments he said there. In this brief segment from his show, Maher talks about how the media likes to pick on him, and says some pretty truthful things.

Pushing aside my personal views and opinions of Bill Maher and his one sided opinions; I do not necessarily agree with that the media is picking on Ahmadinejad. Yes, the University could have dealt with him much differently, i completely agree on the talking point that they invited him, they should have been much more respectful. However, i believe that the way of dealing with Iran is enlightenment. The people are very controlled and I am sure the government filters everything told to the people. If there was a way to enlighten them, show them we do not have a bad opinion of the Iranian people, it is simply this authoritative figure, Ahmadinejad, then I am sure that resolutions to this nuclear matter can be attained much more easily and diplomatically. Honestly, the world, and especially this country, has gotten to love war and conflict. Because of World War II bringing the world out of depression everyone believes that it is some sort of stimulus. Agreeing with Rahm Emanuell, the people of Iran are the answer to the problem, not war.
